What is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic Care specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractic services are used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches. Chiropractors use their hands to adjust joints, the spine and other parts of the body where restricted movement is experienced. These adjustments improve mobility and relieve pain by restoring normal function to the patient's body.

Back pain is the number one cause of disability in people aged 18-46, and the second leading cause of missed workdays. Back pain is generally due to poor posture and lifting techniques, failure to seek medical care following an accident, failure to receive adequate treatment for back injuries, and decreased physical activity. Chiropractic care focuses on the cause of your problem and does not rely on medication for short-term relief of symptoms. |

Recent studies show that at any given time more than 10% of Americans are suffering from neck pain. The neck is comprised of many delicate and pain sensitive structures, and is frequently exposed to abuse and stress that may result in neck pain. Some common factors involved in neck pain are incomplete recovery from past injuries, poor posture, and prolonged sitting. Regular spinal alignments generally help to prevent neck pain due to these sources. |
In the curative stage, the aim is to identify and cure the problems that contributed to the initial pain, and to rehabilitate the damaged tissues. This stage is vital to complete recovery from the source of the pain. | ||||

When left untreated, lower back pain can severely restrict mobility. Most lower back problems, which result in lower back pain, require proper treatment in order to achieve complete rehabilitation. |

A couple of years ago, my chiropractor of over twenty years retired. I put a note on Facebook for recommendations for a chiropractor. That's how I came to find Dr. Stacy Struble. I admit her technique and method of treatment was very different from that to which I had been accustomed. However, her approach was most effective for me. I had been told by a physician about that time that I had a pinched nerve in my lower back. Dr. Struble was able to give some relief and keep me able to continue my daily tasks; but significantly she was the first to tell me that I had a hip problem. Long story short, I had a total hip replacement. She has continued to provide relief for other problems including migraine. She is conscientious and concerned about her patients.
